"Big God Doing Big Things"

God’s protection is essential; it’s not optional. We need His covering daily, weekly, monthly, yearly—always and everywhere. His provision consistently sustains us, regardless of our actions. Despite the consequences of our actions, God’s grace is even greater. In this, we have more reasons to be obedient, so that there is no separation from Him.

Consider God’s response when Abram, in Egypt, falsely claimed Sarai wasn’t his wife. God afflicted Pharaoh because of it, demonstrating the truth of His promise: “I will bless those who bless you, and whoever curses you I will curse” (Genesis 12:3). God is who He says He is. All we have to do is our part to continue to reap the benefits. There are time when we don’t get it right just like Abram but, then, God will show us His commitment to us. Always remember that “If we believe not, yet He abideith faithful, He cannot deny Himself” (2 Tim. 2:13). As time went on, Abraham embraced being a person of faith and, in return, God honored His word. Next time you face a difficult situation that challenges your faith, trust in God; He’s got you covered.
