Are You Tired?

Sometimes we feel like the weight of the world is sitting on our shoulders. The pressures of daily life, responsibilities, struggles, and unexpected challenges can become overwhelming. The truth is, we were never meant to carry it all by ourselves. That’s why we have Jesus. Yes, Jesus.
In Matthew 11, He invites us with these words: “Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.” That is not just a nice saying, it’s a promise. A promise of rest. A promise of relief. A promise that we don’t have to keep dragging the burdens of life day after day. Too often, we try to be strong on our own. We hold on to stress, fear, and worry as if it’s our job to figure everything out. But life is about living, not just carrying. Jesus said in John 10 that He came so we could have life and have it more abundantly. That means peace in the middle of chaos. Joy in the middle of pressure. Strength when we feel weak.
The real question is: do you truly want that kind of life, or does it seem out of reach? Because it’s available. But it requires surrender. It requires trusting God enough to release what we’ve been gripping so tightly. God’s shoulders are bigger than ours. Stronger than ours. More than capable of handling what is crushing us. When we give our burdens to Him, He doesn’t just hold them, He lightens them. He gives us grace to walk through what we thought would break us. So today, stop trying to carry everything. Give it to God. Let Him carry what you were never designed to hold.
God bless!
Scripture of the Week
Matthew 11:28-30
28 Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.
29 Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls.
